Introduction -Once you have an idea of what you want your web page to look like you can make some of the initial changes using the Page Properties window before you get started

Explanation of Backgrounds
One of the easiest things you can change on a web page is the background color. We will go to page properties to change these items. You will have other options available to you as described below.

Procedure for Changing Page Properties
To make changes to the blank page:
1 Go to the Modify menu item and down to Page Properties.
2 Enter the Title of your page in the first field. The title you enter here will show up in the title bar of your browser when you view it on the Internet.
3 Background Image - If you plan on using a background image, you would click on the Browse button and locate the image.
4 Background, Text, Links, Visited and Active links can be assigned colors by clicking on the boxes next to each. Select the color of your choice.

Procedure for Selecting Color Scheme
A different way to change your background and text colors is to use the Color Scheme window.
1 Go to the Commands menu item and down to Set Color Scheme.
2 Select from preset color combinations for your web page color scheme.
3 Click on OK when you've made your selections.
