Exporting an Image

To export a part of an image you are working on do the following

1. Select the Area

Select the export tool from the tools menu.

Next, click and drag across the area you want to export as pictured here.
You can adjust the area selected by clicking and dragging the black handles of the selected area.

2. Export
Double click inside the selected area to open the export window

Select jpeg format for pictures and be aware of the file size. Make this smaller by making the quality less but not below 60.

Click on the export button to complete the export

3. Save
Choose your location and enter the file name for the picture with no spaces in the file name.

Click on Save to complete the export.

The image can now be used in Dreamweaver or any othe place you would import an image.
