The third grade classes are continuing a behavior management plan this year. All students start the day on green. If a rule is broken, the student will move to yellow. If a student has unsafe behavior he/she will automatically be put on red. No student will be allowed to keep others from learning. Please see the monthly calendar for a listing of the colors and their assigned consequences located in your child's folder.

       I have discussed our rules and behavior management plan with your child at school. Please discuss and reinforce this with your child at home. You can check the star on your child's calendar daily to see what kind of day he/she had.

       I have provided a Take Home Folder for your child. This folder will go home each day with any unfinished work, our monthly calendar, and all other important papers. Your child is responsible for showing you their folder nightly.  A parent or guardian will need to initial the day's date to show that they have viewed the folder.  Signatures are not needed on the weekend.  Your child will bring their folder to school every day and I will check to see if the calendar has been signed. We are trying to teach the students to be responsible for themselves by coming prepared for school each day. It is your child's responsibility to make sure they have a signed folder, completed homework, and that it is returned every day. This helps to provide daily communication between us.
