Lord Hill Regional Park, Snohomish County, WA

This is the largest park in Snohomish County, 1600 acres of wild undeveloped trails and forests. There is access to the Snohomish River, and miles of upland forest trails. Popular with mountain bikers and horse riders, it also offers excellent forest walks, a good diversity of plants and animals.  There are many ponds which host amphibians and ducks.  There are lots of side trails which meander through second growth woods.  The Temple Pond loop trail offers nice forests and an active pond, often with ducks.
