Stanley Park, Vancouver

This 1,000 acre wild park is one of the crown jewels of the city of Vancouver, B.C.  There are more than  100 miles of trails which crisscross through the park, offering access to forests and shore.  A must stop is the Lost lagoon nature house with excellent displays and programs. There are tide pools accessible at minus tides with a good variety of sea creatures, and the forests provide excellent examples of lowland forest plant and animal species.
