| In November we teach for a couple of days at the open house educational tours at the Wallace River fish hatchery. Student teams lead groups through 9 stations. | Usually in the early spring we are involved revegetation projects which involves planting native plants and sometimes digging up non-native plants. |

| In the spring students spend several weeks doing individual research projects. | From time to time we do data collection for agency research projects. |

| On the week before Memorial day and the week after we run the Monroe School Wetland days. Each student is assigned a minimum of 2 stations to learn and present to the district third graders and their parents. | |
